Textile conversion bug
Reported by Andrew Dupont | April 22nd, 2008 @ 02:12 PM | in Phase Deuce
My input text:
I don't know if this has anything to do with the Trac ticket linked above, but we set "zoom: 1" in order to trigger
hasLayoutin IE. This often alters the dimensions/offsets of a container, but (in all cases I'm familiar with) the original dimensions/offsets were *incorrect*, and settinghasLayoutfixes them.
A screenshot of the output is attached. The word "incorrect" should be bold, not surrounded by asterisks. This doesn't occur in RedCloth (v3), so I'm assuming LH owns this bug.

Gah, of course it tries to convert the text I pasted. Here's the raw text: http://pastie.caboo.se/185070

FYI, We don't use RedCloth. We're using a custom parser (textile-like). We're thinking about swapping to markdown. But in any event, this is a bug.

I prefer Markdown, personally. But that's a whole Coke/Pepsi can of worms.
