search for open tickets across multiple projects
Reported by Adam French | August 28th, 2007 @ 03:35 PM | in Feature Requests
is there a possibility that I could click on the "# open tickets" from the index page (right after I login) and get a list of the open tickets from any of the projects I'm participating in?
Along the same lines, could the search query "responible:me state:open" return all tickets from every project I'm participating in?
Merci mucho

We're looking at ways to enhance the user profiles. Though, it may make sense to just make a project-global tickets controller. /tickets?q=... vs /projects/1/tickets?q=....

It's on the request list, as to a WHEN it might be added or a definite answer as to if it will I can't say. There are several requests for some feature that is similar to this, so more than likely Justin and Rick still have to discuss it.

Yea, it's not a huge deal except everything about the tickets controller assumes it's in the project context. There's some refactoring that could be done here (A lot of the core ticket code is almost 18 months old).

Hey - besides "open", what's the status of this one? Is it on the radar?

This would be a really great feature... at the moment I have to keep a list of all my active projects on my whiteboard so that I make sure to follow up on them.

I just spotted this:
http://wm.lighthouseapp.com/user...
(5603 is my user_id)
There's a list of all of my tickets across all of my projects there....somehow....

I see the same thing Adam sees. This is SOOOO close to what we're asking for here, but not quite there. Being able to see all my tickets across projects is very useful IF I can search/filter the same way I do within one project. Without that, and with hundreds of tickets across dozens of projects, it's just not that helpful.
Justin, can you please comment on the current thinking about this ticket? Is it something you guys plan to implement?

Hey David,
We've been discussing ways to tackle this so it's definitely on our agenda.

I hope this is still on the radar. Scrubbing every project on my list to figure out which one's have my tickets in them is a huge annoyance.

Is there any progress here?
