Members, People... and the confusion!

What's the difference between a Member and a Person in Lighthouse?
Okay, I get it... but something isn't working right in some of the logic in the application.
First off, let me point out that these two tabs confused the hell out of me.
Why? Review the following screenshot
The only thing in all of the navigation that I think will take me to some global page (non-project specific). I've highlighted global links with pink and project-specific with orange.
So, when I tried to manage the people who have access to the current project, I wasn't expecting to be taken away from the project members when I click on that tab. Do you see how this can cause confusion?

I thought that I'd chime in on this again because the new design didn't address this yet and as a result, I keep finding myself navigating back to the Dashboard instead of the project overview.
I don't think that I'm a dumb user. I just find myself doing the wrong thing over and over and I'm going to point fingers at the primary navigation. ;-)

This has always been a pain point because of the different levels of members and different permissions of projects. The People tab has been scrapped locally and we're simplifying this for the most common task.

Too right.
Add on to this the ability to have public and open source projects with multiple users/people that aren't "members" and it makes puppies cry.
