Ticket Assignment

Create a new ticket.
Leave it as No assigned user.
It is incorrectly assigned to the person who created the project.
Have to manually reassign to nobody.

Raymond, I'm unable to recreate your issue. I've tried on two separate accounts.
however, I am noticing that if a user is set to be assigned to tickets by default, the field by default does not display that when a new ticket is created, so when the ticket is created, it reverts back to the projects default assigned user.
Can you go to the projects page and check if the default assigned user field is set to someone, or if it is blank?

Ah, that must be the case. I am not the project owner when I encountered this problem, so I am totally unaware that a default user can be assigned to new tickets. I will check with him. Thanks.

Well, I'll keep it open because it should display the default assigned user in there by default, and on new tickets it's definitely not doing that.
I worked with Rick for a while tonight as he pushed bug fixes to Lighthouse v2, trying to get the major stuff out of the way, and I'm not sure if this crept in after the updates or not but your ticket is the first to mention it and I haven't noticed it before.
